Team Rosebuds

Team Rosebuds is designed for children who need more challenging training than the Rosebuds “Bear” class but are not old enough to participate in the Falcons Learn to Fly Program. The team will offer participants a chance to learn how to ski on more challenging terrain. They will also have a chance to learn and race on a Falcons Learn To Fly race course. Participants will follow a challenging curriculum of techniques and skills to work their way through a set of goals over the course of the season. Season Equipment Leases.

Skill Level:   Applicant athlete must be able to effectively communicate with coaches without parent assistance; get their skis on with minimal assistance and use ski poles; with their skis on, stand and move around without falling; ski in a gliding (small) wedge and stop without falling; load/unload Ponderosa, Galena, Northwest and Zephyr chairlifts with some assistance, ability to ski Kit Carson, Lakeview, Mine Train, Double Down and Sunrise with minimal stops.

Program Includes:
- Unlimited Season Pass
- 1 training day per weekend (either AM or PM) with coach for program duration (see Calendar)

Uniforms: $60 uniform jacket required; will be available through NYSEF
